Most of us have watched a James Bond movie and said “Wow, that gadget is cooler than a polar bear’s toenail.” Bond always has the best gadgets ever. I have often wondered what I would choose if I could have a cool gadget that none of my friends have.

Well, recently I found something that is pretty damn cool. Picture this: you are driving behind someone who is talking on their cell phone and not paying attention, or you’re trying to watch a movie and someone answers their phone. It is very, very annoying.

The answer to these problems is a hand held portable universal cell phone jammer. It is a very cool device that just about everyone can afford. This little baby is awesome. Just turn it on and bam they are not talking anymore!

I have to imagine (haven’t bought one yet) that there is nothing more satisfying than cutting off an annoying cell phone caller. In just one flip of the button that annoying, loud, rude person is no longer talking on the phone.

You do have to be within a certain radius for it to work though. I can’t wait to get a cell phone jammer and make sure no one near me ever talks on their phone again in the movie theater. These devices are available in several places on the Internet. Just search cell phone jammer and you will find several sites that offers them. I also found one on Amazon.com that you can purchase here for about $200.
Expected to be in stores next month (October), the phone will likely cost $199 with a 2-year contract. The official name of the phone is the “G1″ though most people will probably just call it the G Phone,, even though this will be just one of many phone that will likely be powered by Google’s Android software.

Google is known for very simplistic/minimal yet functional designs with all of their web apps. I’m looking forward to seeing what people think about the G phone and if they’re able to continue being known for simplicity and functionality in the mobile world.

Who cares if they aren’t comfortable? You’re sitting on 1000s of years of history man.

I guess you could call these prehistoric tree chairs conversation starters, but I’m not sure that really does them justice.

Hot chick: “So, those are nice chairs, tell me about them.”

You: “They’re made from prehistoric trees.”

Chick: “Cool…”

You: “Damn right they are!” End scene.

So I’m not really sure what else to say about these chairs except that they’re cool.

The mini-fridge should be a part of every bachelor’s pad, apartment, house or crack-pot hole in the wall living arrangement. Why? Because it is the best and only acceptable place to store large amounts of beer (likely, cheap beer that you drink when your buddies are around).

Why can’t I just store my beer in my main fridge, Bachelor Design?

Because when a chick comes over and looks in your fridge, she makes certain assumptions (if you have a girlfriend already, then I guess it doesn’t matter). But if you’re looking to make a good impression, what will she think if your main refrigerator is being dominated by cans and cans of crappy light beer? She’ll likely think you’re a cheap, unhealthy dude and run away.

That’s where the mini-fridge comes in. Save your main fridge for healthy food, white wine and mixers for the girly drinks you have to make occasionally. The mini-fridge is the beer fridge. Make sure to place it in your basement or wherever you watch TV–preferably not too far from where you sit so you don’t have to go to far to get your beer.

I recommend the Sanyo SR-3770S black and stainless steel mini-fridge. It’s got a storage capacity of 3.7 cubic feet, whic is room for plenty of booze, and a built in ice maker, because it’s that cool. It has can-storage on the inside of the door and you can remove the shelves to make room for stacking more beer.
This Sanyo refrigerator is the ultimate mini-fridge, so pick one up today if you’re still being lame and filling up your main fridge with beer, instead of things that are good for you and can get you girls.

Where to buy

Amazon.com - $243.65

This Nokia cell phone is a sweet pick for people who want their phones to store/play music, as it holds up to 3,000 of your favorite songs and supports playback for up to 18 hours. It’s got the main music buttons on the outside of the phone, which is nice because it allows you to easily play your music without fumbling through a bunch of menus and buttons. The XpressMusic phone also has FM radio built-in, and a 3.5mm jack for your headphones, so you don’t have to buy one of those stupid adapters, like some other phones (cough, LG) force you to.

As far as a camera goes, this phone’s camera won’t blow you away (2 megapixel, 4x digital zoom) but it gets the job done. It’s not like you’re gonna be taking professional quality pictures with your phone anyway, right? The XpressMusic phone comes with a 2 gig usD chip for storage. It measure 4.09 inches x 1.76 inches at its widest and .39 inches at its thickest. With its battery it weighs 2.48 oz.

That concludes our Nokia 5310 XpressMusic Review. The phone comes in 4 color options, including pink and red, for those of you who like brightly colored cell phones. It costs $242 (U.S.) and you can read more about it on Nokia’s website here.

There’s very few things in nature that have the kind of power and ability to transform things that hurricanes do. For all the power than humans have over nature, hurricanes remind us that we are still powerless at times.

While we hope everyone stays safe this weekend in Texas as Hurricane Ike moves in, we wanted to share some pretty awesome hurricane pictures and designs. Hopefully they will remind you to take these things seriously, and maybe even inspire you in your own designs. No matter how much we prepare or try to control things, sometimes hurricanes have their own designs

Hip-hop music star Kanye West has hit the headlines yet again today for a scuffle he got in with paparazzi at the Los Angeles LAX airport.

Kanye West and his bodyguard/road manager Don Crawley were cuffed and booked by the Los Angeles Police Department. LAPD took the men to the Culver City station.

The evidence seems pretty damnig as security cameras show Kanye slamming a photographer’s $10,000 camera to the ground in an unruly fit of rage. I really wonder if Kanye is a violent man or if he just does stunts like these because he has relative immunity, being a millionaire, and likes to attract attention. Having raked in 21 million dollars certainly doesn’t hurt for being able to get preferential treatment from our legal system.

The HTC Touch Diamond and Pro (the model with the slide-out QWERTY keyboard) have been getting a lot of buzz recently among the high-tech mobile phone crowd, and US customers will be able to buy the Sprint’s Diamond later in September, according to reports.

However, there is even more buzz about a higher-quality model from Sprint. Pictures and specs of the HTC Touch HD have been leaked on a few blogs, including MoDaCo.

Potential additional specs…

A lot of people have been talking about Salvia, a controversial plant that some claim can give you a good high. Salvia hasn’t been classified at the national level as an illegal drug but many states have outlawed it. Salvia is in the mint family and produces a very pretty flower:

Salvia tripping

Could Salvia be the modern day solution to kids and losers wanting to get high without having to traffic narcotics? Maybe so. There are several videos on Youtube that claim to show Salvia trips but its hard to tell what the real effects are since its just high school kids screwing around.

If you’re feeling adventerous you can head on over to eBay where some sellers have listings for Salvia Kratom and Salvia Divinorum, two extracts from the Salvia plant. Prices are very affordable too - under $10 including shipping!
