If you're an audio-junkie like me then you want your music sounding as crystal clear as possible. Some people may like a lot of bass but I prefer clean, non-distorted sound that let's the music speak for itself.
I bought this NAD C350 integrated amplifier for the stereo system that's in my bedroom. I use it to power a basic Mirantz CD player with 2 floor speakers (PSB Alpha T series). This setup is especially good for use in a small room. The sound I get with this setup is not just clear, it's loud. I've actually never turned the volume up on my NAD C350 past halfway because it's so loud. It is very easy to adjust the volume though, due to the giant knob on the right.
From a design point, the NAD C350 won't win any awards. It's simple, even plain-looking. But its performance is what matters, and there is nothing lacking in this department. If you had to give it a weakness, it would be that it's only a 2-channel amplifier. But do you really need more than 2 speakers for music, if you have good ones? I don't think so.
