The buzz today is that T-Mobile will introduce the G Phone, the first mobile device/cell phone that will be powered by Google's Android operating system. Expected to be in stores next month (October), the phone will likely cost $199 with a 2-year contract. The official name of the phone is the "G1" though most people will probably just call it the G Phone,, even though this will be just one of many phone that will likely be powered by Google's Android software.
Google is known for very simplistic/minimal yet functional designs with all of their web apps. I'm looking forward to seeing what people think about the G phone and if they're able to continue being known for simplicity and functionality in the mobile world.
